McGregor Calls WWE Stars 'Pussies' - But He Respects CM Punk

He just won't let it go.

Conor McGregor has had his say on last night's fight and, as usual, he isn't holding back.

As you definitely will have seen by now, CM Punk's MMA debut at UFC 203 went didn't last very long, with the former-WWE superstar lasting a mere 134 seconds against Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt Mickey Gall.

Punk's stats were as pitiful as the fight itself, as he attempted six strikes, had no significant strikes, no knockdowns, no takedowns and no submission attempt.

However, he was gracious in defeat and promised fans that he would continue with his UFC journey.

This particular attitude seems to gained him a fan in the form of Conor McGregor, as he spoke to TMZ after a night out and said: "Fair play to him because he got in there and fought.

"Not a lot of people do. Not a lot of people have the balls to make that walk. So fair play. He got his ass whooped. God bless, but he got his ass whooped.

"But those WWE guys are straight pussies, I told you all. But he isn't. He got in there and fought. So fair play to him, respect."

We all know that McGregor's relationship with WWE is quite strained, especially after his comments during a press day for UFC 202 back in August where he ripped into WWE stars and, in particular, John Cena.

He said: "The new age are dweebs. Let's be honest here. They are absolute dweebs.

"The main guy, John Cena, he's 40 years of age and he's running around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a head band, talking about nobody can see him.

"We can see him right there. He's a big, fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia motherfucker."

He also addressed the fact that Ric Flair accused him of 'stealing his gimmick on Twitter' too: "I don't know what to say to Ric Flair.

"This ain't no gimmick. This is the real shit. I gotta get in and fight a man for real with no script, with no nothing. So he was talking about bringing some of the wrestler guys over to challenge me, come bring it then. This is the real shit over here. If you want to come over we can fight no problem."

Here's Flair's tweet...

He finished with: "And then a few of them were talking about the street and all. If you want to come do that, come at me and see what happens."

Clearly, McGregor really doesn't like WWE. Or maybe he just doesn't like the fact people are talking about someone else for a change...
