There is, it has been said, no such thing as a 'sure thing', especially in the unpredictable world of modern football. When even Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo can't guarantee you success every single year, what chance does anyone else have?
Enter Ljubomir Fejsa.
The Serbian midfielder is part of Rui Vitoria's Benfica side that have just lifted their fourth successive Primeira Liga title. But for Fejsa, those four titles are only a part of a much more impressive trophy haul.

In fact, the 28-year-old has been winning league titles non-stop since 2008. Across three countries, no less.

Beginning in 2008 with a Serbian SuperLiga success as a Partizan Belgrade player, Fejsa has lifted 10 successive league titles with Partizan, Olimpiacos and Benfica.
The Serbian international has only failed to lift silverware with one club, Hadjuk Kula, where he began his career and spent three seasons, between 2005 and 2008. However, due to financial problems, Kula dissolved the first team five years after Fejsa departed for Partizan.

League titles aren't the only trophies the defensive midfielder stockpiles, either. In fact, in addition to Fejsa's perfect 10, the Serb can also boast two Serbian cup winners medals, another two from Greece and five from Portugal (two Taça de Portugals and three Taça da Ligas).
Given that even Zlatan Ibrahimovic could 'only' manage eight successive league titles (or six, if you want to discount the two revoked ones he won with Juventus) during spells with Ajax, Juventus, Internazionale, Barcelona and AC Milan, Fejsa's accomplishments are even more impressive.

Fejsa also has 23 caps for Serbia to his name, which seems a little low when you consider his age and the fact he also appears to be a guaranteed lucky charm. In fact, Fejsa has only featured once for his national team since 2015.
So, if you're a manager who is under a fair bit of pressure and could do with a league title victory to win over some disillusioned fans, you could do a lot worse than throw some money Benfica's way for their sure thing in midfield.
