Neymar's Brilliant Reaction To Being Booed By Saudi Arabia Fans

That's how you respond to jeers...

It would be fair to say Neymar is a somewhat polarising figure but fair play to him for getting the Saudi Arabia fans on his side in his last night's friendly.

Tite's side won 2-0 in the SuperClasico friendly fixture but their talisman, the world's most expensive footballer, was subject to jeers from the local supporters to begin with.

However, the PSG superstar made sure it didn't get to him and had a brilliant reaction to some of the whistles late in the game.

He simply applauded the fans as he made his way over to the corner flag to take a corner in stoppage time and in next to no time they were were clapping him back.

Gabriel Jesus and Alex Sandro scored the goals for the Selecao - with the former getting a much-needed goal after drawing a blank in a difficult World Cup campaign.

Neymar assisted the Manchester City striker's first-half finish and praised his compatriot after the game - even going as far as saying that he's happier when Jesus scores once, than he would be if he netted five.

"I was very happy to have assisted Gabriel Jesus," he told reporters after the game, as per Goal.

"I think there was an unfair criticism on him, for all the work he did for us, for everything he asked for.

"In my view, they did a very great injustice with him. I was much happier that he scored a goal than if I had five."
