PSG Have Sent A Letter Of Complaint To UEFA About Barcelona Match

PSG Have Sent A Letter Of Complaint To UEFA About Barcelona Match

Maybe get over it, lads?

We'll admit, if we'd seen our team surrender a four goal lead and concede three times in the final seven minutes of a match, we'd have a hard time getting our heads round it, especially if some of the officiating was more than a little suspect.

However, a week removed from PSG's capitulation against Barcelona in the Camp Nou, the French champions sending a letter of complaint to UEFA feels less like a justified course of action and more like yer da writing to the council about how a set of temporary traffic lights are adding 10 minutes onto his daily commute to work.

PSG's hierarchy were infuriated with the performance of German official Deniz Aytekin, who is allegedly facing punishment from UEFA for his display last Wednesday night, which apparently included several instances of him telling PSG's players to fuck off.

While PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has accepted that the result must stand, despite over 200,000 people signing a petition to have the match replayed, he has also relayed several complaints to UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, eight of which have been shared below, via Marca.

According to Marca, the goal of the meeting was for PSG to earn more "respect" in Europe.

Perhaps your defence not performing with all the composure of a bunch of lads frantically trying to close their laptops when their mrs walks into the room would earn you a bit more respect, lads.
