It's official - Chelsea have agreed to sell Brazilian midfielder Oscar to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG for a whopping £52million.

In one of the most incredible transfers in recent history, Oscar will become the world's highest paid player, earning £400,000 per-week at the Chinese club - more than the likes of Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The 25-year-old will join former Chelsea boss Andre Villas Boas at Shanghai, as Carlos Tevez continues to be linked with an even bigger transfer to the club.

Another Brazilian striker, Hulk, became SIPG's record signing in June, joining from Zenit St Petersburg for £47 million, but Oscar's move has well and truly smashed that record.

He will earn an incredible:

- £400,000 per week
- £57,142 per day
- £2,380 per hour
- £40 per minute
- 66p per second

To put that into perspective, Oscar can buy three Freddo's every second if he chooses that kind of life. On top of that, he could buy a BMW 3 series every single day during his Shanghai journey.

Since June 2014, Chelsea have made £230 million selling players who made 58 combined league starts for the club in the 12 months before being sold.

Truly remarkable business from Roman Abramovich and co.
