Why even bother?

Even though it's four years since Robin van Persie decided winning a Premier League title with Manchester United was better than not winning one with Arsenal, Gunners fans still haven't forgiven the Dutchman for making the switch to Old Trafford, in 2012.

Van Persie left the Emirates in a £24m deal and scored 30 goals in his debut season with United, firing them to the Premier League title. Now in his second season with Fenerbahce, van Persie is still deeply unpopular in North London, as the response to Arsenal's recent tweet proved.

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of van Persie's most iconic goal for the Gunners - THAT volley against Charlton Athletic at the Valley, yet not many Arsenal fans saw the need to celebrate it.

Maybe don't bother celebrating any more of his anniversaries in the future?
