Dani Osvaldo Has Retired From Football To Concentrate On Another Career Path

At the age of just 30, former Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo has sensationally quit football to try and become a professional musician because he is Dani Osvaldo and he does whatever the f*ck he wants.

Famous for his training ground fight with Jose Fonte during his time in the Premier League, Osvaldo has always been one to break the rules during his time in football, most notably the time he was caught smoking in the changing rooms at Boca Juniors.

The former AS Roma, Inter Milan, Juventus, Southampton and Porto striker was reportedly close to signing for Serie A side Chievo on deadline day but decided to turn the offer down to concentrate on his music career.

Osvaldo, who made 14 appearances for Italy during his 11 year career, reportedly told Italian television station Rai Sport that he has retired from the game.
