Fantasy Football Player 'Triple Captain's' Luke Shaw And He's Already Got 46 Points

Genius. There is no other word for it.

It wasn't just a great day for Luke Shaw, who proved his doubters wrong against Leicester City on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The 23-year-old has been criticised in recent months for his lack of fitness, but he picked up the Man of the Match award on Friday night, scoring his first senior goal in the 2-1 victory.

Shaw secured most successful passes in the game, as well as recording the most touches and most possession won in the defensive third. It was a potentially season-changing 90 minutes for the left-back.

It was also an incredible night for one Fantasy Football player, who might have already secured the best Triple Captain of the season award.

Shaw managed to pick up 33 points for this guy and it could have been so much if Jamie Vardy didn't pull one back in injury time.

This stroke of Fantasy Football genius wasn't done just there. Paul Pogba's penalty in the third minute was crucial, adding another 10 points to his eventual total of 46 points. Have you seen anything like it?

Last season, Yusuf Sheikh from Tanzania was the worldwide winner, racking up an insane 2,512 points across the season and sealing the top spot thanks to some final day heroics.

He was 33 points behind Bharat Dhody and his 'Boom Xhaka Laca' side, occupying sixth place at the start of the final day.

But after leaving his triple-captain chip to the very last game and bestowing the honour upon record-breaker Mo Salah, he did the business.

Unbelievable.
