Rotherham United and Ipswich Town fans have paid an incredible tribute to the late Barry Chuckle this afternoon by chanting his famous line: "To me, to you" in the 74th minute.

Before the game, life-long Rotherham fan Chuckle was also given a one-minute round of applause from both sets of supporters.

They also paid tribute to former chairman Syd Wood before kick-off. It was an emotional moment for all, especially brother Paul, who was watching the game from the stands.

Paul provided a touching tribute on the morning of his brother Barry's death.

The Chuckle Brothers worked together for more than 50 years after catching their big break on Opportunity Knocks in 1967. They starred in ChuckleVision together on the BBC from 1987 to 2009.

His brother, whose real name is Paul Elliott, said: "I've not just lost my brother, I've lost my theatrical partner of many, many years and my very best friend."

Barry and Paul Elliott's manager, Phil Dale said: "It is with great sadness that the family announce that Barry passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Ann and all his family,

"The family would like to express their thanks to the many people who have been fans of the Chuckle Brothers and they know that they will share in part the great, great loss they feel."

A true legend.
