Manchester City have scored an absurd amount of goals so far this season.

We're talking 96 (!!) goals, and we're not even half way through this tie or January.

City continued their prolific goal-scoring record against the hapless Burton Albion in the League Cup semi-final first-leg.

Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus (x4), Oleksandr Zinchenko, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Riyad Mahrez all got on the score-sheet as they battered the League One outfit nine-nil.

In comparison, Spurs have netted 70 goals. Lionel Messi's Barcelona have 71 goals to their name whilst Paris Saint-Germain, who boast Neymar & Kylian Mbappe in attack, have 77 goals this campaign.

Of course, City added five more goals in the second half.

City, meanwhile, are in back on Monday night when they resume their Premier League venture against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
