Manchester City End Liverpool's Unbeaten Run With Vital Win At The Etihad

Jürgen Klopp's hopes of extending Liverpool's lead at the top of the Premier League have taken a massive blow after a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Sergio Agüero opened the scoring at the Etihad Stadium and handed Pep Guardiola's men a 1-0 advantage at half-time.

However, Roberto Firmino would pull the Reds back into the match in the second half.

But a brilliant strike from Leroy Sané would secure three important points for the reigning Premier League champions.

Liverpool holds a four-point lead over second-place City.
