It was a memorable night for World Cup winner, Paul Pogba.

The 25-year-old was handed the captain's armband for Manchester United's Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday night and after just three minutes, he bagged from the penalty spot.

The midfielder was arguably United's best player throughout, bossing the midfield while being the main creative outlet for the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford.

But in the grand scheme of things, is he happy at Old Trafford?

Paul Pogba's post-match comments following the club's win are causing concern among fans as rumours continue to swirl surrounding his future.

When asked if he is happy at the club, the midfielder gave a cryptic answer, saying he would get fined if he opened up about his feelings at the club.

"If you're not happy, you cannot give your best. There are things I cannot say otherwise I will get fined." he said via BBC.

Pogba was then questioned about the differences between playing for France and Manchester United:

"I am the same, but it's a different team, obviously." he said.

"I still enjoying playing football but like I said, when you are comfortable or confident and are good in the head, it's going to be easier."

It was reported earlier this week that Pogba told Manchester United that he wants to leave the side and join Barcelona, after claims emerged that he has agreed a contract with the La Liga champions.

The 25-year-old has grown unhappy with life at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail, and now wants to move to Spain to play for La Liga giants Barca.
