Danijel Subasic nearly secured his side all three points on Sunday, but an unlucky moment prevented AS Monaco from beating Montpellier.

When Radamel Falcao put AS Monaco 2-1 up in the 82nd minute, it appeared the visitors were on course to earn an important league victory.

Though Leonardo Jardim was denied an away win after a last minute penalty despite Subasic's valiant effort in goal.

The Croatian keeper produced one of the most unluckiest penalty save attempts as the ball somehow squirmed under his arms, ultimately crossing the line through the help of VAR.

A win would've saw AS Monaco climb above Dijon to 17th, though failing to record three points means they continue to occupy a relegation spot.

AS Monaco resume their faltering league campaign next weekend at home to Nantes.
