Nobody can get their head around it.

Hugo Lloris has made some memorable mistakes in recent months, with that attempted dribble against Mario Mandzukic in the World Cup final being one of them.

The French shot-stopper also rushed off his line against Barcelona last week in the Champions League, allowing Philippe Coutinho to open the scoring in the first two minutes.

But the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper made up for those errors against Iceland, last night, when he pulled off the most ridiculous 'quadruple' save.

Lloris managed to palm away a powerful header from Gudmundur Thórarinsson for his first save, then somehow got in the way of three other shots in the space of a five or so seconds.

You might not see a better group of saves all season. Take a bow, Hugo.

World champions France were 2-0 down after just 58 minutes thanks to goals from Birkir Bjarnason and Kari Arnason.

But late strikes from the world's most expensive teenager, Kylian Mbappe and a Eyjolfsson own goal spared blushes in an entertaining affair at the Principality Stadium.

Lloris' quad save certainly grabbed the headlines, though, entertaining the masses on social media:

Let me just watch these saves for the 12th time today...
