What a night it was for Champions League goals tonight!
Lorenzo Insigne scored a fine goal from 35 yards out when he caught Keylor Navas off-guard and not to be outdone, Arjen Robben popped up with a beautiful curling strike three minutes later in the Bayern Munich-Arsenal game.
Thiago Alcantara's first goal was also a lovely goal that featured a sumptuous backheel from Robert Lewandowski.

But in what was a competitive contest for goal of the night, I think it's fair to say that Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro picks up the victory.
Real Madrid had turned the game around with goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos but the Brazilian made sure he was the player everyone was talking about after the game with an unbelievable volley that flew into the top corner.
After a couple of ricochets and deflections, the ball sat up nicely for Casemiro on the volley and he unleashed an unstoppable striker that gave Pepe Reina absolutely no chance in the Napoli goal.

What a way for Casemiro to open his account in the Champions League this season. Gareth Bale, still not available for selections, was also a big fan of the strike.
