Cristiano Ronaldo pipped Lionel Messi to 'The Best' player in 2016 award by FIFA but who did the two protagonist vote for?

Following his exploits for Real Madrid and Portugal, Ronaldo was the hot-favourite to lift the coveted prize.

And as proceeding's got underway in Zurich, Switzerland, Ronaldo indeed - and rightfully so - was crowned the best player.

But who did they vote for?

To no surprise, neither men voted for each other, instead, again, to no surprise, opting for their club teammates.
