The most iconic celebration ever?

The classic "Hold my beer" meme has been reinvented by former Sweden international Kennedy Bakircioglu after his incredible pint-catching antics.

The former Ajax man, capped 14 times by his country, was a bit of a Championship Manager favourite back in the day and even had a trial with Manchester United.

Now 37-year old, he's in the final year of his second spell in the Swedish capital with Hammarby IF, where he is the club's captain.

And last night, his career may have just peaked when he channelled his inner Stone Cold Steve Austin after banging in a 30-yard free-kick.

He'd just notched a brilliant third in his side's 3-0 home win over Goteborg (Gothenburg) after being on the pitch for six minutes when a home fan hurled a cup of beer onto the pitch as he and his teammates ran over to the corner flag.

Proving he's more than adept with his hands as well as his feet, he caught the beer, took a sip to finish it off before throwing it up in the air like an absolute boss. What a bloke.

The golazo warranted more than a fist-pump, 'Milly Rock' or knee-slide and boy did Kennedy deliver. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say it's the greatest celebration in football history.

According to Kennedy, it was the third free-kick he'd scored against last night's opponents and he clearly very much enjoyed the beer.

"It was a beer that was thrown in with joy. I managed to catch it and get a little bit," he said when speaking to Swedish TV channel C More post-match.

"I thought it was awesome, a funny thing."
