Karamoko Dembele has shared his delight after earning an England youth call-up.

The 13-year-old Celtic attacker has emerged as one of the most talented young players in Scotland this year after several YouTube videos of him in action went viral before the Hoops handed him a substitute spot in their development team.

Dembele was born in Ivory Coast before moving to England and then Scotland as a kid, but he's spent more years in Glasgow and it was no surprise to see the SFA hand him a call-up for their recent Victory Shield team.

But the talented attacker has struck fear into all Tartan Army fans after sharing his happiness at earning a call-up for one of England's youth teams.

Dembele took to Instagram earlier tonight and wrote:

Dembele appears to have already trained with England's Under 15 team at St George's Park and this is the first time he's made any mention of his international recognition on social media.

So that must come as a setback to any Scotland fans who hope Dembele will represent them in the future.

The young attacker had to settle for a place on the bench for all three of Scotland's Victory Shield games earlier this month and that may have contributed to his decision to represent England next month.
