Touch of class.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola showed real class following his side's win over Bournemouth, after he was caught on camera embracing Harry Arter.

City cruised to a relatively straightforward victory at the Vitality Stadium, with Raheem Sterling and a Tyrone Mings own goal ensuring proceedings finished 2-0 - and ensuring City go to second in the Premier League.

However, one of the real highlights of the night came after the final whistle when Guardiola came onto the pitch to shake the Bournemouth players' hands.

He pointedly stopped and chatted with Arter, and if you looks closely he can be clearly seen mouthing the words "I'm so sorry for what happened":

In December 2015, Arter's daughter Renée was stillborn, leaving him,his partner Rachel and his family devastated. Earlier this year, a non-league player was sacked for abusing Arter over the loss on Twitter.

Having been through a lot, Guardiola obviously felt compelled to offer Arter his best wishes even though they were competitors on the night.

What a classy, classy gesture.

Brilliant stuff.
