Sergio Ramos has always enjoyed a reputation as a goal scoring defender who can be just as effective in the opposition penalty area as he is in his own, but even by the 30-year-old's standards, his record for this season is seriously impressive.
With six La Liga goals already during the current campaign, Ramos is outscoring many of Europe's top marksmen.
How does Ramos compare to some of all the time greats who have graced the Bernabeu?
Stunningly, neither Neymar, Karim Benzema, Javier Hernandez, Paolo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Gareth Bale, Alvaro Morata or Anthony Martial can boast a record that is any better than Ramos' six goal haul in the league, this season.

Yesterday's La Liga clash with Malaga saw the World Cup winning defender add to his haul for the 2016/17 season twice, scoring both goals in a hard fought 2-1 victory.
Ramos has also helped himself to two goals outside of league competition, leaving the former Sevilla man well on course to hit double figures in all competitions, this season, in what is already his most prolific ever campaign.

Just three games shy of reaching a landmark 500th appearance for Real Madrid, the 'Los Blancos' skipper has found the net 66 times since arriving at the Bernabeu in 2005.
