Zlatan Ibrahimovic turns 37 today and enters another year of his quite remarkable life/career. Sweden's all-time top scorer has over 500 career goals to his name for nine different clubs and across seven leagues.

His latest venture has of course seen him join many high-profile players in moving to LA Galaxy in the MLS and even if you think the top tier of football in the United States is equivalent to Sunday League, you can't deny the fact he's come back from an injury that would normally end the career of someone his age, and absolute tore it up.

The self-professed Lion has 20 goals in 24 MLS games and many have been utterly ridiculous. With his new team 3-1 down to an Carlos-Vela inspired Los Angeles on his debut, the charismatic Swede entered the fray as a substitute in the 71st minute.

Chris Pontius struck a minute later to bring the scoreline to 3-2 and then Zlatan did his thing - smashing in an insane looping half volley before heading home a dramatic late winner.

He's kept that same level throughout and saved his best work for the big moments - including his outrageous karate-style volley for his 500th career goal against Toronto, as well as a netbuster against Vancouver Whitecaps to score his 20th MLS goal for Galaxy this past weekend.

There's no doubt that the well-travelled striker still has plenty left the tank and he will continue to entertain us with his awe-inspiring displays and special charisma off the pitch.
