The 2016 Ballon d'Or Final Results: From 1 - 17

After all the gossip and speculation, Cristiano Ronaldo has been crowned the 2016 Ballon d'Or winner for the fourth time in his career.

Real Madrid's prolific forward has broken handfuls of records in the past 12 months, most recently smashing the record for the most hat-tricks in La Liga.

To be honest, it feels like he breaks a record every time he steps onto the field - he is just that good.

Many expected Ronaldo to lift the trophy over main rival Lionel Messi this year. but who triumphed over who? And where did Jamie Vardy come in the list?

France Football tried to keep us up to date with all the results this evening, but missed a few out along the way.
