At just 13-years old Celtic's Karamoko Dembele is one of the most sought-after young players in world football.

Dembele joined the youth ranks at Celtic at the age of 10 and hit the headlines earlier this year when he made his debut for Celtic's Under 20 side. He also played for Scotland's Under 16 side in the Victory Shield.

Small in stature but not lacking in ability, Dembele is also eligible to play for England at international level having been born in London.

Having already trained with England Under 15's, he has been linked with making the switch in the future.

And he has also not been short of interest at club level, with a host of top clubs linked with the wonderkid.

According to The Independent, Manchester City are leading the race for Dembele, though Premier League table-toppers Chelsea are also said to be monitoring the youngsters's situation very closely. City and Chelsea are widely seen as the two dominant forces at youth level.

Further interest comes from Ajax, who have a track record of nurturing young players and bringing them through to the first-team.

Brendan Rodgers has already spoke about the need to keep Dembele grounded after such a spotlight has been placed on him at the young age. The Celtic boss recognises the ability Dembele possesses and has told him to look at his namesake Moussa as an example. The 20-year old is the Hoops' main man having arrived in the summer from Fulham.
