In total, United's net debt has grew by a whooping 25 per cent.

Though it isn't great for a club the size of United to be having such a large amount of debt, United fans, who have voiced their displeasure about the debt the Glazer family have accumulated, shouldn't be majorly concerned as their global brand and reach means they recorded record revenue figures of £513m this year.

UEFA's document does stress that the level of debt needs to be compared to the revenue and long-term assets of each club.

United's debt is said to be around about equal to the club's annual revenue and only 80 per cent of assets.

In contrast, struggling QPR's value of debt is roughly 250 per cent of revenue and 480 per cent of assets.
