Chelsea 'Are Accelerating Down The Final Stretch' To Sign Nabil Fekir

Nabil Fekir has dominated the summer transfer window and with days left for Premier League clubs to do business, his name is once again doing the rounds.

Liverpool were reportedly very close to snapping up Fekir until the club failed to agree terms with Lyon.

The 25-year-old is now being linked with a move to Chelsea according to France Football.

Chelsea are believed to be 'accelerating down the final stretch' to secure his services ahead of the new season.

Maurizio Sarri has expressed considerable interest in Fekir with Liverpool unlikely to table an offer before deadline day.

The English summer transfer window closes on Thursday at 5 pm.

Fekir, meanwhile, returned to Lyon this morning following his World Cup excursions and commented on his future by saying: "The transfer window is still long & everything goes very quickly in football."
