With the Premier League title on the verge of being delivered to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte already appears to be looking towards next season and has made Monaco's Bernardo Silva one of his top targets for a likely title defence.

The Portuguese playmaker has been on the radar of both Manchester clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid, but the champions elect are looking to move into pole position for the former Benfica youngster's signature.

Silva could be generating these reactions from Antonio Conte, next season...

According to The Sunday Times, Chelsea have "initiated discussions" with the player's representatives as Antonio Conte seeks to bolster his squad with Champions League football also set to return to Stamford Bridge, next term.

Silva isn't the only potential new addition to Conte's squad, with Bayern Munich and Arsenal target Andrea Belotti also being linked with a move to the Blues from Torino as well as Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.

Silva has thrived since moving to Monte Carlo, scoring 24 goals in 120 games from midfield. He's also improved the amount of goals he's laying on for his teammates, assisting five efforts this term having only set up five during his previous two seasons with Monaco.
