Brahim Diaz has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid after deciding not to renew his Manchester City contract.

The 19-year-old's deal at City expires next summer, and it appears he's not going to extend his stay in Manchester.

His future has been subject to intense transfer speculation with reports now suggesting he could be a Real Madrid player as soon as January.

Real Madrid have reached an informal agreement with Diaz, and the Spanish outfit will be looking to seal a deal in January to acquire his services.

If they can strike a deal with Diaz in the winter transfer window, the Champions League holders are enticing him with first-team football ahead of the second-half of the season.

Diaz began his footballing venture at Malaga. City signed him as a 14-year-old, and slotted him into their youth team with the player yet to make a Premier League appearance, this season.

He isn't the first youngster to ditch City. Jadon Sancho left the club in 2017 after being apart of City's youth academy.

The English starlet failed to make an appearance for City, eventually signing a deal with Borussia Dortmund where he's risen to prominence with assists and goals.
