Pep Guardiola may be happy for Joe Hart to leave Manchester City, but it'll be interesting to see if the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager is also happy with Hart's preferred destination.

The Sun are reporting that the England number one is willing to take a substantial pay cut on his current £150,000-a-week wages to force through a move to Liverpool, who are now the favourites to secure the goalkeeper's signature, following Ronald Koeman's announcement yesterday that Everton have no intention of signing Hart.

While Pep would likely have welcomed a move to Goodison Park for Hart, he may think twice about strengthening a potential title rival and attempt to offload the 29-year-old elsewhere.

Hart captained City in what was likely his final game for the club, against Steaua Bucharest, on Wednesday night. He has made 348 appearances for the Citizens, lifting two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups during his 10 year association with the club.
