Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho showed no sign of a rift as the former interrupted a TV interview to congratulate the latter.
The French midfielder was a surprise omission from the Manchester United squad for the visit of Liverpool to Old Trafford this afternoon.
It was revealed to be due to an injury picked up in training yesterday - something Mourinho confirmed before the game.
Despite the explanation, speculation continued about there being a rift between Pogba and Mourinho, stretching back to reports that the midfielder wasn't happy earlier in the season under the Portuguese manager.

There doesn't look like any rift between Pogba and Mourinho there.
United have every reason to be positive after the victory. Beating their rivals is big, but they've also moved five points clear of their rivals in second in the English Premier League table.
