Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is clearly very high on the talents of Marcos Asensio.
The 20-year-old has been a major part of the club's success this season as Los Blancos sit top of La Liga after 15 matches. Despite his age and lack of experience, Asensio's performances have earned the admiration of his coach.
So much so, that Spanish newspaper Marca have reported that Zidane has made a comparison between the midfielder and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

The belief is that Zidane is a huge fan of the exciting young player he has at his disposal and has told the player himself that he sees a bit of Lionel Messi in him. Not a bad compliment for a young player to receive.
Asensio spent last season on loan at Espanyol, making 34 appearances and scoring four goals.
However, this season Asensio has already played eight games for Madrid, scoring two goals and even earning a call-up to the Spain squad.
It's high praise indeed from Zizou, which can only be a good thing for a young player on the rise at the Bernabeu.
