WATCH: Diego Costa Reveals Why He Joined Chelsea

After rising to prominence in Spain with Atletico Madrid, Chelsea subsequently came in for Diego Costa snapping him for a cool £32 million.

And following his decision to snub a move to Liverpool in 2013, Costa has revealed why he wanted to join the West London outfit.

Ahead of the Jose Mourinho derby on Super Sunday, Thierry Henry sat down with Diego Costa to talk about a range of topics.

Including that of the reason behind why he opted to swap Madrid for London. Check out his reason below:

In his debut season in the Premier League, the Spanish international bagged 20 goals under Mourinho, eventually holding aloft the Premier League trophy.

Though the following season saw the Portuguese get sacked with Costa just netting 12 league goals.

And it appeared he was hellbent on a move back to Spain until Antonio Conte convinced him to stay.

He's returned to his deadly form scoring 17 league goals in 28 appearances as Chelsea sit comfortably at the top of the league.

All eyes will be on the Mourinho managing against his former players.
