Revenge is a dish best served cold but Dele Alli's form is too red hot for that to have been the case. The Englishman's two goals gave Spurs a win over their big rivals and Twitter was loving it.

At the end of last season Chelsea had come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 and officially hand Leicester City the Premier League title as Spurs unsuccessfully chased them.

This season the Blues travelled to White Hart Lane knowing a win, their 14th in a row, would give them the record for consecutive wins in the top tier of English football.

However Alli's brace of headers either side of half-time condemned Chelsea to their first loss since their embarrassment in the red side of North London when Arsenal beat them 3-0 in September.
