Manchester United Star Brutally Trolled For Performance Against Brighton

Jose Mourinho's side may have picked up the victory, though Manchester United's performance left little to be desired.

Not to mention one specific player subject to intense criticism following his outing against Brighton in the Premier League.

Following a European defeat in midweek, Mourinho turned his attention to the domestic campaign as they hosted Brighton on Saturday.

The Portuguese boss made a few changes including starting Juan Mata in midfield.

Though the Spaniard failed to deliver, and everybody vented their anger and frustration on social media.

Mata was eventually drafted off on the hour mark for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Shortly after, United netted the eventual match-winner courtesy of an own foal from Lewis Dunk.

United momentarily close the gap on City who play on Sunday.
