Punter Misses Out On £10,760 After The Most Incredible Eight-Fold Accumulator

One unlucky punter was waiting on Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae to win Love Island in a bid to land a truly outrageous accumulator.

Fury and his partner were 10/11 favourites to win the popular ITV show on Monday night, but against all odds, Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, who plays for the Ireland national Rugby Sevens team, lifted the coveted title.

It was a result that meant this eight-fold accumulator became null and void, costing the lad a hefty £10,760.60.

He bet on Novak Djokovic to win the Wimbledon title and Brazil to win the Copa America, but that heartbreaking defeat at Casa Amor, in the final seconds of injury time, meant he missed out on a whopping amount of cash.

This might just be one of the most unlucky bets in recent history.

From unlucky bets to the extremely fortunate.

Back in February this year, this punter picked up a ridiculous £185,000 from a 20-fold accumulator.

The anonymous better placed a £50 bet on a total of 20 results and every single one of them came through.

He had Newcastle's win over Huddersfield, Arsenal's routine victory against Southampton, PSG's comfortable triumph over Nimes and Real Madrid's narrow win at Levante on his slip, along with comeback wins for Bury, Barcelona and Norwich City.

He added an insane £185,162.09 to his bank balance after putting on the speculative bet at his local William Hill branch.

"He is a regular every Saturday morning and he places just the one bet every week," said a William Hill spokesman.

"He has been trying to beat the bookies for a number of years and has finally done it."
