While Manchester City may have controlled today's Manchester derby, Pep Guardiola's team were indebted to goalkeeper Ederson for producing a breathtaking double save in the dying moments to help secure all three points and take the Citizens 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
David Silva and Nicolas Otamendi's Romelu Lukaku assisted goals fired City to victory at Old Trafford, but it was Ederson's last gasp double stop that proved to be just as important as anything that happened at the other end of the pitch.
The former Benfica stopper saved brilliantly from Lukaku and then again from Juan Mata as a scramble ensued in his goalmouth with United desperately chasing an equaliser in the last few minutes.

The City goalkeeper rightfully took plenty of plaudits for the stop, which helped City secure a record equalling 14th consecutive Premier League victory, drawing them level with Arsenal's 2002 team who achieved the same feat 15 years ago.
