Stoke City's social media team aimed a brutal insult at Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this afternoon following the two sides' 1-1 draw on Saturday.
The incident revolves around Stoke's Irish midfielder Glenn Whelan, who praised the club's supporters in the wake of the weekend's game, with the club's Twitter account sending his comments out to their followers.
One particular tweeter @FelixScheidegg7 thought he'd attempt a light bit of trolling, and threw a little bit of shade at Whelan's recent performances, albeit slightly harshly:
It seems that was all the ammunition the lads over at Stoke needed, and they fired back with a mercilessly brutal Tweet, aimed at United's world record signing Paul Pogba - Whelan's direct opponent on Saturday:
If they were looking for some cheap publicity, the comment did its job, with fans and onlookers commenting and re-tweeting in their thousands.

However, whoever sent the tweet better hope Pogba doesn't find his shooting boots the next time they meet next season.
Then it would really come back to haunt them.
