Brazil manager Tite has a big decision to make, Gabriel Jesus or Roberto Firmino as his starting number nine in the World Cup? The Liverpool forward had a classy response when asked about the battle to start.

Four years ago Brazil were one of the favourites to win the World Cup on home soil and they even made the semi final.

Looking back at it that's pretty impressive in itself considering that their number nine options were between Fred and Jo, two strikers who have scored 23 goals between them in international football.

This time round things are looking a lot better with both Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino in the squad for Russia, it comes down to a player on great form for Brazil or a player on great form all season for his club.

Jesus is the favoured man and he started Sunday's friendly against Croatia but Firmino came on as a substitute and scored as the South American's won 2-0.

After the win Firmino spoke to SporTV and said, "I'm here to help Selecao.

"Whatever Tite chooses (between me and Jesus), I'll respect 100% and I'm here for (the team) when needed, to give my best for the team."

Jesus only started 19 games in the Premier League for City this season and scored 13 goals, with 10 appearances coming off the bench too.

Firmino scored 15 goals in 32 starts, with a further five appearances off the bench, but also scored 10 in 13 in the Champions League.

Plenty of fan can't believe that Jesus still starts ahead of his rival:

Tite has said that Jesus is currently is still his first choice but warned the Liverpool man could end up overtaking him saying, "Firmino can enter at any moment, he is heating up the competition. But he will play centrally, not wide, because this is his best position. I attended Roma game, he is great at applying pressure."

With a worse manager and worse players Brazil made the semis last time could the battle between Jesus and Firmino with Coutinho and Neymar either side of them help the Selecao win a sixth World Cup?
