Arsenal Loanee Shows His Parent Club What He's All About With Mazy Run

Arsene, are you watching???

It's not been the best of times for Arsenal recently, has it?

The Gunners were humiliated at the Allianz Arena last week in a 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich, following on from recent disappointing defeats against Watford and Chelsea.

They take on Non-League, Sutton United, the lowest ranked team in the competition in the FA Cup tonight and if they lose, you will see an ArsenalFanTV meltdown like never before.

It's a shame that the game or highlights show isn't being shown on ITV, as watching Roy Keane analyse a potential Arsenal defeat to a Non-League side would be quite something.

He already ripped into Arsenal and Arsene Wenger last week after the Bayern loss.

Moving on, there were some encouraging signs for Arsenal this weekend.

That's because one of their youngsters, currently on loan at Charlton in League One, made a real impression and looks a big talent.

Stephy Mavididi, 18, almost scored one of the goals of the season in a 3-3 draw against Rochdale at the Crown Oil Arena in the second half.

The forward joined Charlton on loan until the end of the campaign and having being brought on by boss Karl Robinson in the 64th minute, went on a sensational mazy run from his own half - leaving a number of defenders in his wake and advancing towards goal.

Combining pace, strength and skill, Mavididi conjured up a truly incredible solo run but unfortunately could not supply the finish and saw his effort saved by Ben Wilson when one-on-one.

Even if the end product wasn't there, it still makes for a great watch and will no doubt get Arsenal fans very excited.

If Arsenal had someone from the club watching their player as is normal, they will have been pleased with what they saw.
