Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow dropped an absolutely hilarious clanger for his side in tonight's Championship match against Norwich City.
The 26-year-old has managed to establish himself at Rafa Benitez's first-choice stopper at St. James's Park this season, but he definitely will not want to watch back a clip of his performance tonight.
Ayoze Pérez fired Newcastle ahead after just one minute, but Jacob Murphy levelled things up just 10 minutes later.

And just five minutes later, Darlow decided to add his stunning contribution after coming out of his penalty area to claim what looked like a fairly routine ball. What transpired was anything but routine.
The Newcastle keeper really messed up his kick, only connecting with thin air, and it allowed Cameron Jerome in.
The Norwich striker chased down what seemed a loss cause and with the defender having turned his back expecting his goalie to kick the ball clear it was left for Jerome to run clear with an open net.

The former Premier League striker did his own impression of Ross Barkley by celebrating before the ball went in!
Defeat would be a set-back in the Toon's chase for promotion back to the Premier League, but by no means fatal.
However, we reckon the psychological scars Darlow has picked up tonight could last for quite a while.

Is it the worst goalkeeping howler you've ever seen?
