It's been just two years since Andy Robertson joined Liverpool, after being relegated with Hull, and he's now a Champions League winner along with his teammates, which completes an incredible six years for the Scotsman.
Just over a year ago Liverpool full back Andy Robertson was being lauded for an incredible rise in his career. The Scot hadn't even been at Anfield for a year when they faced Manchester City in the Champions League quarter final.

What was significant specifically to Robertson was the fact that the match came exactly five years to the day that he was playing in front of 242 people as Anan took on Queen's Park.
On that night in 2013 Robertson had been on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline in the third tier of Scottish football.
Half a decade later and the former Hull City full back was the £8 million bargain that helped the Reds to an incredible 5-1 aggregate win over Manchester City in the Champions League.

Of course that season would end in heartbreak for Jurgen Klopp's team as they lost in the final of Europe's top competition to Real Madrid but this season was a different story.
As well as pushing City close in the league, losing the title by one point despite amassing a ridiculously impressive 97 points, they made amends for last season's loss to Real by beating Spurs 2-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday.
The 25 year old full back has had a brilliant season personally and ended the league campaign with an impressive 11 assists, which bought him a place in the PFA Team of the Year.

Liverpool's whole backline has been outstanding this season and they only conceded 22 goals in the league, less than anyone else.
The Scotland international got a move to Dundee United after excelling for Glasgow club Queen's Park and was later snapped up by Hull City for just short of £3 million a year later.
He spent three years at the KCOM Stadium, including two in the Premier League and clearly caught the eye of Klopp, who ended up with one of the bargains of 2017/18.

In the past two seasons he has continued to get better and better as part of this impressive Liverpool team that finally has silverware to its name.
Robertson even endeared himself to fans by sending a young fan who gave his pocket money to charity a signed shirt, although not from the left back as he was self effacing enough to suggest no one would want it:
An incredible six years for Robertson and an amazing 'ending' last night but for this full back things could yet get even better.
