Roma's Under 15 team showed the perfect way for players to act in victory after they consoled their AC Milan counterparts following their victory in the Under 15s Scudetto final.

Sport lives and dies on rivalry but too often we can get caught up in it and forget that ultimately it's about being competitive but having fun.

At 14 you could forgive some under 15s players from forgetting to show humility in victory but that wasn't the case for AS Roma's young side as they consoled AC Milan's youngsters on the pitch after beating them to the title.

Milan play in Group B in the under 15s league in Italy and topped the table with 52 points, beating Bologna by just two points.

In Group C Roma weren't able to top the charts. The capital club finished second to Napoli by six points, finishing three points clear of Frosinone.

Milan once again toppled Bologna in the quarter finals of the play-offs over two legs with Roma overcoming Fiorentina 3-2 on aggregate.

The Rossoneri beat Genoa, who finished top of Group A, in the semi-finals, whilst Roma overcame Napoli.

In the final it was the Rome side who came out on top winning 2-0 and taking the Under 15s Scudetto.

Their under 17s counterparts still have the chance to win their equivalent title and face regular rivals Napoli in the semi final next week.

In the under 16s Roma were knocked out of the quarters by Empoli with the victors set to face Inter in the final on Saturday.

Roma's young sides certainly did better than their men's side. Eusebio Di Francesco was sacked midway through the season and replaced by Claudio Ranieri.

The former Premier League winner couldn't turn things around enough though and the Giallorossi finished sixth, three points outside of the Champions League places.

Ranieri has since been replaced by Paulo Fonseca and they'll be hoping to have a better season next year, they could certainly lose some things from their under 15s.
