The former England manager will be hoping he doesn't hear 'You're fired' after just one task like he did from the FA.

Sam Allardyce will once again be hoping to avoid hearing the words 'You're Fired' but it won't be for underperforming in the league but because of doing rubbish in tasks for Lord Sugar.

It's fair to say that Sam Allardyce splits opinion when it comes to football fans, some love him and some absolutely loathe him. There's no doubt, however, that he must be doing something right in the boardroom.

Despite the fact that 'Big Sam' has failed in most of the many jobs he's had the former Bolton Wanderers manager does have the ability to impress the next club he gets a job for in the boardroom.

In fact Allardyce can be too good in the boardroom on occasion. According to one story the first time he was up for the England job he came prepared with a slideshow but the FA didn't have the facilities for him to present it.

Life hasn't gone too well for the 64 year old in recent years with his one game spell with England ending in a sacking and his time at Everton lasting just a few months.

Now he has the chance to get back on top as he enters Celebrity Apprentice for Comic Relief and attempts to not get sacked by Lord Sugar:

The former West Ham boss will be competing against Omid Djalili,Russell Kane, Richard Arnold, Rylan Clark-Neal, Kelly Hoppen, Tameka Empson, Amanda Holden, Rachel Johnson and Ayda Williams.

The show will be shown over two episodes and will raise money for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. The episodes will air on Thursday March 7 and Friday March 8 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Allardyce will be hoping that his team win one of the tasks and he gets a nice pint of wine and a pie as part of his prize.

Things could get awkward for the former West Brom player with Karen Brady, his former boss at West Ham, one of Lord Sugar's usual advisers on the show, along with Claude Littner.

It'll be interesting to see Allardyce on the show competing with everyone else, can the former England manager win?
