Ridiculous...

If you're an avid FIFA enthusiast, you'll be well aware that there are certain players that you just have to have in your team.

In Ultimate Team, you find yourselves forming a bit of a bond with certain players because of the qualities that they possess.

I've always been a big fan of Lisandro Lopez, the former Lyon striker, who used to do some serious damage back in the day.

On the other side of the pitch, when you are looking at defenders - the obvious stats to look at is their defensive abilities but when you have a player who is equally as impressive going forward, it's a win-win.

Schalke defender Naldo is the man who combines both defensive and attacking to devastating effect.

The Brazilian has been a cult hero for years on FIFA whether he was turning out for Wolfsburg or Werder Bremen. He has a reputation for being a complete and utter monster at the back on a number of different editions of the game.

And that's also the case on FIFA 17, where his latest card on Ultimate Team has 85 defending and stats such as 84 strength, 86 interceptions, 85 standing tackle and 91 heading accuracy. Much like fellow Brazilian Felipe Santana, Naldo has been a top choice if you want a commanding presence at the back to sniff out opposition attacks.

But his top individual statistic is something you would typically associate with an attacking player - that is of course Naldo's insane 92 shot power.

The 83 rated man has a habit of scoring net-busters from range so his shot power stat is definitely warranted and it's been relatively high from the beginning.

In FIFA 10 and FIFA 11 it was 89, in FIFA 12, FIFA 13, FIFA 14, FIFA 15 it was 90 before an upgraded 81 card saw it go up to 92 - which was the rating given from the start in FIFA 16.

It's remained the same for the 34-year old in this year's game and with the devastating shot power as well as 82 long shots, it means it's always worth having a pop with Naldo from distance.

Fut Wiz estimate that he is going for somewhere between 700 coins and 10,000 on Xbox, with the last action at the time of writing being that someone put him up for 5,000.

On PS4, his price range is 700 coins and 12,000. When you consider what he brings to the table, it's an absolute steal if you can get him for the aforementioned prices.

Have you witnessed the brilliance of Naldo before? Let us know in the comments.
