Pure filth

Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Uruguay produced some crackers. Not only did Spurs reject Paulinho ping the ball from 30-yards out but Philippe Coutinho also churned out magic of his own.

Paulinho certainly wasn't well known for his brilliant goals during his time at White Hart Lane, though you'd struggle to pinpoint exactly what it is he is best remembered for.

However, he equalised, following Edison Cavani opening the scoring at the Estadio Centenario, with an absolute rocket leaving the Spurs faithful - and probably Daniel Levy - scratching their heads.

Some hit!

But Liverpool duo Coutinho and Roberto Firmino weren't prepared to be outdone, helping their side to a comfortable 4-1 victory at Uruguay to extend their lead to seven points in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying standings.

They combined brilliantly as Paulinho bagged another goal, and if that wasn't enough the Liverpool ace then humiliated a Urugayuan midfielder TWICE in the space of seconds.

Stop it!

Spare a thought for Egidio Arevalo Rios.

Neymar also got himself on the score-sheet with a cheeky lob after evading the defenders last ditch tackle.

Following the conclusion of the game, Coutinho and Neymar caught up with Barcelona's Luis Suarez. Any cause for concerns, Liverpool fans?

Meanwhile, next for Tite's charges are Paraguay in Sao Paulo next Wednesday as they seek to secure their spot in Russia.
