Olivier Giroud has opened the scoring for Arsenal in their home game against Crystal Palace with an utterly unbelievable goal.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan recently hit the headlines for scoring a delightful scorpion kick goal in United's recent win over Sunderland.
But Giroud, not offside unlike Mkhitaryan, scored a goal that is well and truly next level.

The Frenchman starts off the move with a glorious flick on the halfway line and after being picked out by Alexis Sanchez in a cross that didn't have too much pace on it, Giroud adjusted his body position superbly and managed to pull off an outrageous scorpion kick goal that looped over Wayne Hennessey in the Crystal Palace goal and went in off the crossbar.
The technique to score a goal like that is off the charts.
Even if we are just a day into 2017, we may have just seen the goal of the season and Puskas award winner already.
