Arsenal managed to avoid the potential banana skin by dispatching non-league minnows Sutton United, which included Theo Walcott's 100th goal for the club as well as a pre-match blunder not to mention a classy post-match gesture.
Despite apparently being unhappy in North London, Lucas Perez was handed a start and opened the scoring in the first-half before Walcott doubled their lead racking up an impressive personal milestone.

Walcott added Arsenal's second before the hour mark sealing the Gunners' place in this year's FA Cup quarter finals against Lincoln City.
The 27-year-old also captained Arsene Wenger's team, although the role wasn't one the England international thrived in, as he rather comically proved before kick off.

As Walcott and Sutton's skipper approached the centre circle for the traditional coin toss, Walcott forgot to bring with him an Arsenal pennant to exchange with his opposite number and was left looking a bit embarrassed as he accepted Sutton's flag without anything to offer in return.
But he rectified his error with a touch of class. Following the final-whistle, the Sutton faithfuls poured onto the pitch which prevented the players to converse with their professional counterparts.
Though Walcott made a visit to their dressing room, individually congratulating each player while even signing a few shirts.
Nice touch, Theo!
