Liverpool picked up their first Premier League win over 2017 on Saturday, deservedly beating Tottenham in what was a comfortable win in all honesty.

The Reds were rampant and rediscovered the sort of performance level that they had displayed for large spells this season and Sadio Mane showed Liverpool exactly what they had been missing while he had been at the African Cup Of Nations, netting two first-half goals to sink Spurs.

One of the other top performers in the game was midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. The Dutchman, who scored Liverpool's equaliser against league leaders Chelsea a couple of weeks back, pulled the strings in the middle of the park and recorded a gorgeous assist for Mane's first goal with a sublime defence-splitting pass for the Senegalese man to latch onto.

He also produced a lovely backheel flick in a fluid team move, but you may have missed his finest moment and contribution in the game.

When Mane grabbed his second goal in the 18th minute, finishing emphatically after a couple of saves from Hugo Lloris, Wijnaldum absolutely lost his mind.

Footage of the former Newcastle and PSV man, standing deep in midfield when the ball hit the back of the net has emerged online.

The 26-year old went crazy and there was plenty of air fist-punching in quick succession from Wijnaldum when Liverpool extended their lead.

He celebrated as though he'd won the WWE Championship, Champions League final, Wimbledon and the lottery at the same time but Liverpool fans undoubtedly enjoyed his passion.

Watch his reaction here:

Something tells me Wijnaldum quite enjoyed Mane's second goal...
