The January transfer window is in full flow at Old Trafford following the sale of French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, and it appears he's being joined by another player to the Manchester United exit.

Schneiderlin completed a big-money switch to fellow Premier League side Everton, and has already featured for the Toffees making his debut as a substitute against Manchester City.

And now Memphis Depay is set to end his miserable Old Trafford career by heading to France's Ligue 1, despite interest from the Merseyside club.

According to reports from renown French outlet L'Equipe, United and Lyon have finally reached an agreement over the transfer fee believed to be £16 million for the winger.

The move is set to be finalised following a week of negotiations which saw not one but two bids rejected, though the Red's have finally succumbed to their third offer.

A few more details are being ironed out before the deal is officially over the line with a reported four-and-a-half-year contract on the table.

Meanwhile, Depay's number 7 shirt is already being lined up for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann.
