Eden Hazard Reveals He'd Like To Work With Jose Mourinho Again

Hazard and Mourinho worked together at Chelsea with mixed fortunes, having won the Premier League and also nearly been relegated.

Everyone else might be falling out left, right and centre with Jose Mourinho but the Manchester United boss has one ally with Eden Hazard revealing he wants to work with his former boss again.

Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly, Juan Mata, Chris Smalling, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford, at some point Jose Mourinho has had issue with all of those Manchester United players.

It would take too long to go through all the other players he's had fallings out with as the former Real Madrid manager has known how to wind people up the wrong way, no matter what team he's been at.

Even when things have gone well one season they've often imploded a season after. That was certainly the case when Chelsea under Mourinho went from champions in 2014/15 to one point above the relegation zone in December 2015 when the former Real Madrid boss was sacked.

One of the reasons for that was Eden Hazard. The Belgian went from the club's player of the year when they won the league to not scoring in any competition until the end of January.

Many thought that Hazard and Mourinho had fallen out but quite to the contrary the former Lille player revealed to HLN that he'd like to work with the United boss again, saying:

"The last season under Mourinho was not enjoyable. We didn't win, we got into a sort of routine, training without having fun, it was better for all parties that we parted ways. But if I'm asked now about one coach with whom I want to work again, I would say Mourinho.

"I don't regret many things in my career, but that I have not been able to work with Mourinho at Chelsea anymore is one of them. We had a team that could win more trophies. We just ended up in a negative cycle."

It seems unlikely that the pair would end up working together again anytime soon however weirdly if it were to happen it could be at Real Madrid sometime in the future.

Mourinho's future at Old Trafford is still under threat as is new Real boss Julen Lopetegui, who only joined in the summer after Zinedine Zidane left.

At the same time Hazard has once again admitted he'd like to play for Los Blancos in the future saying, "I am really in the game, I am playing good football at the moment. Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don't want to lie today.

"It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club. We will see. I don't want to talk about this every day. I don't have time, but we will talk about my future soon. I think so. It is also when you have a dream and you want to make it happen."
