Everton On Verge Of Signing Of The Summer Deal

Everton mean business!

It's finally here, Yellow Tie Day is amongst us. If you don't like transfer stories then it's time to go into hiding because that's pretty much all anyone will hear about today! Everton are hoping to pull off what some would think is the signing of the day, if not the whole window!

It's still beyond me why clubs wait till the last day to do business, well so much of it any way. Yeah you can accept one or two last minute buys but so many clubs wait till the last second- I can't even begin to imagine how long football managers and chairmen wait to do their Christmas shopping. It's four months away and I've already started!

Somehow it looks like Ronald Koeman has just strolled into the local toy store on Christmas Eve and picked up the very thing his kid wants even though there was almost no chance it would still be in stock, this comparison is already getting weary. The Everton boss is set to sign Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi according to Portuguese paper Ojogo.

The 26 year old Algerian has fallen out of the Porto first team since the arrival of manager Nuno Espírito Santo and the Toffees are likely to take advantage of that by bringing him to the Premier League for around €40 million.

The Parisian joined Porto from Spanish side Granada in 2014 for €6.5 million and it wouldn't be the first time a Portuguese side has made a load of fucking money off a player.
